With an array of recent honours under his belt, Max Birtwistle, a Year 9 St Gabriel’s High School pupil can add playing for the Lancashire Under-14 squad to the list.
As a regular at Greenmount Cricket Club in Bury, Max had an unrivalled 2021 summer season receiving player of the season awards across the Under-13, Under-18 and third teams.
This led to a stint in the Lancashire League Interleague and he will now represent the County in the summer.
