Ronald McDonald House Manchester provides free accommodation for families whose children stay at Manchester Children's Hospital. It costs the House £25 per family per night for them to stay in fully serviced accommodation.
In 2014, over 6,000 families stayed in Ronald McDonald House Manchester to be close to their children in hospital. The length of stay varies, with some families staying for 2 years and others for only 2 weeks. Families come from all over the UK and abroad.
Ronald McDonald House has 61 rooms, all of which are fully occupied 99% of the time - they currently have a waiting list of around 20 families.
